COVID-19: AED 35+ million to support small businesses in the UAE

COVID-19 has had a major impact on small businesses all over the world including your business. To help you address some of these challenges, Storat is happy to announce a new AED 35+ Million in orders and services commitment to support small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) in UAE.

That will include:

• AED 30 million in orders value with a reduced commission. Effective June 1, 2020, we will be reducing Storat commission by 50% for medical services, restaurants, travel agencies, salons, and spas categories. This reduction will be in effect until the end of 2020.


• AED 5 million in Storat priority plan credit to help bring your business online. With COVID-19’s impact on doing business in person, it is essential for SMB’s to bring their business and offerings online as soon as possible. If you don’t have a website yet or you want to upgrade your current website to a modern and responsive Arabic/English website, you can leverage Storat Websites Solution for free now. Hosting and support charges will be covered by Storat until the end of May 2021.


• In July 2020, we will extend Storat Pay solution to all merchants with active accounts on Storat. You will be able to create payment links directly from the Store Manager and send it to customers by WhatsApp or email to collect payments on credit cards remotely. Payment links will incur 0% commission.
